We raise Corriedale sheep, focusing on the
hard to find, old-style Corriedale - a smaller, more square built sheep than its
modern counterpart, with amazing fleece that Corriedales used to be known for.
To my mind these are wonderful sheep well suited to traditional farming methods
and the production of handspinning fleeces. I have carefully selected my
small flock in a variety of colors from a farm well known for its fleece
quality, and more closely from individual animals with exceptional wool, all on
the finer side of the Corriedale range. I feed them, house them and coat
them with the goal of raising outstanding fleece for handspinners. Since I
began selling raw fleece, I have SOLD OUT every year! At the present time, many
of our 2008 fleeces are on reserve though we continue to maintain a waiting
list. If you would like to know why there is such a demand for this exceptional
wool or would like to be on the waiting list, please contact us or read more at
the LINKS above.
